It's Definitely Sunday

Oh here we go with another Sunday... dirty kids coming back from their mother's house wearing clothes that don't fit, hair a greasy mess and letting it show that they just spent two days with no rules. They were dropped off early around 5:30 without having any supper, good thing my husband texted her to ask because she didn't volunteer that information when dropping them off. A plus is she bought the kids new shoes, the negative is that Trevor's are too small, a lot of good that does. She is as useless as they come!

Time To Move On

This morning has been rather eventful...my 15 year old and I had a bit of a falling out. Well I guess I should say that I had to give her a reality check. She is in such denial about living here, for some reason she has still got it in her head that she will someday soon be moving back to Virginia. I understand that this move has been hard on her but she is the one making it more difficult than it needs to be. It is beyond time for her realize that she is not going back and that she needs to put forth the effort to make friends and make a new life here. I am getting tired of trying to help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. So this morning I had to do a little tough love and tell her like it is, let's just hope that I got through to her.

Whatever Will You Find?

I'm not sure what all you will find on this blog, it could be a funny that I heard or saw, or how I'm feeling that day, or all about the woes and joy of being a parent and wife. Whatever crosses my mind...if I remember to share it that is.
